1. GUN HILL
Situated about 400mts from The fashionable Mall, Gun Hill is the second highest peak and the most famous attraction of Mussoorie. Gun hill ofers a beautiful panoramic view of the snow capped peaks of mighty Himalayan ranges, green Doon Valley and picturesque view of Mussoorie town. Gun hill is connected to the fashionable Mall by 400mts long ropeway and the ropeway ride to this beautiful misty peak is a thrilling experience. Gun Hill also houses the reservoirs that supply water to Mussoorie town.
2. CAMEL’S BACK ROAD
Stretching approximately 4 km between Library points to Kulri Bazaar, the road got its name from its rocks shaped like a camel’s hump. Surrounded by breathtaking sites of the mountains and green valleys, the road is a must see and must walk attraction. Famous for its natural beauty and beautiful sunrise view it is ideally used by local peoples for morning and evening walks. The evening at Camel’s road is a memorable experience as it ofers a ravishing sunset view as the SETTINGSUN paints the mountains in brilliant hues.
3. THE MALL
Situated in the center of the town The Majestic Mall road is the top landmark and life line of Mussoorie. All the popular Showrooms, Departmental Stores, Shops, Restaurants, and Cafes are located on Mall road. In the evening the mall roads becomes one of the main strolling street and major attraction for tourist. Other attractions on the Mall are skating ring, windy point and the Methodist Church. Further the lampposts and benches lined besides the road, the mall throws a glimpse of the colonial period Era.
4. KEMPTY FALL (15 kms)
Situated on the hilly tracks on Mussoorie – Chakrata road, kempty fall is the most popular tourist spots near Mussoorie. The Kempty Falls ofer a remarkable view as the waterfall plunges its way down from about 40 feet high and then divides into five streams. Usually crowded with tourists, Kempty Fall makes an interesting picnic spot and the visit to these alluring waterfall is incomplete without taking a bath under them.
